The BEIS sponsored Science & Innovation Audit (SIA) has developed a framework for priorities within the Midlands Engine geographical area, which highlights 4 market driven priority themes, one of which is Medical Technologies and Pharma which our region has world-leading aspects in and the potential to develop further. The Midlands Engine has established an Innovation Group, in part to take forward the results of the audit and help build cases for investment in the infrastructure and ecosystem.
