2019 ideasUK Idea of the Year competition!

For over three decades, we have honoured the best ideas from the public and private sectors, both home and abroad. Over that time, through our Idea of the Year competition, we have shown time after time how innovation in the workplace can bring wide benefits to employees, customers and organisations.

The Idea of the Year competition provides a great opportunity to recognise your employees who submitted those incredible ideas; raise the profile of your programme to senior management through external recognition and gives international exposure to your success, plus lets me honest, it’s just great to win!

Once again we have teamed up with Wazoku to automate the first stages of the competition and ask you to either access the website with your existing credentials or if new to the competition – register!


The website contains lots of useful information about the competition, details on timings, categories, the rules and regulations and answers to some frequently asked questions, so even if you are not quite ready to upload your ideas, do take a look!

The deadline for entries is Friday 12th July 2019

Should you be chosen as a finalist in the competition, an individual who represents the idea will be required to attend the ideasUK conference to participate in a face to face judging session. This year conference will take place in Edinburgh on 13th and 14th November. All finalists will be recognised and the winners will be announced during a celebratory dinner on the evening of Thursday 14th November.
